On the plus-side, there are 20000 courses available to download but if your course is not on their database email customer services with the details and they promise to update their system. Moreover it is possible to put in your course details manually. You can download courses for $2 each or make a one-off payment of $10 for a lifetime membership. Go Planet Golf Gps is a simple GPS system. For the price it is good value for money. If you don’t want to pay for the course you can plot it manually. I managed to upload my course easily. The display is fine during bright sun and I found it easy-to-use. The distances matched the 150 yard marker well. The Go Planet Mars 100 measured individual shots well and showed some weaknesess in my game.

I am happy with the Go Planet and consider it great value for money.

To sum up, the Go Planet Mars 100 is worth considering if you want a useful but basic system. The device is so simple to use and is as cheap as it gets. If you want simple GPS golf caddie that will help you improve your game. Personally, I would probably buy the Caddy Lite Golf Plus, which will also give distances to various hazards and it is about the same price.
