Caddy Lite Golf Plus GPS Review:. This golf GPS system is about the same size as a mobile phone, it comes with a sturdy belt clip and a USB cable so you can download maps. The Caddy Lite instantly provides you with the distances required on every hole you play. You will know the exact distance to the front of the green; even when you are on the adjoining fairway or through the green. The Caddy Lite will also keep you informed on how far “to carry” up to dangers on each hole- Bunkers, Water, Dogs Legs, Hollows or Paths etc.

Caddy Lite is so simple to use. Just turn it on when you arrive at the course and you won’t need to touch it again until you reach the 19th hole. The Caddy Lite automatically detects the hole being played and will show you the distances required when you need them. The Caddy Lite is supplied with a complimentary map for you to download, further maps are £10 each or you can purchase the annual membership for £40, which entitles you to unlimited downloads. Updating the Caddy Lite is simple, just log onto the website and you can access over 3,400 courses across The UK, Ireland and Europe. Moreover, if the course you visit is not on their database you can contact them over the internet and they will add your chosen course to their list. If you only intend play on one or two golf courses the fees shouldn’t be a problem, if you travel the country playing golf or intend to play on many courses you may want to consider paying more money for a golf Gps device that has free downloads like the Sonocaddie V350 or even consider a Laser Rangefinder.

Caddy Lite Plus, Only £99

To sum up, this is a great piece of kit for the price. Sure there are more expensive golf GPS rangefinders on the market, but the Caddy Lite Plus is simple to use and has everything you need to greatly improve your game.

Let me show you what current owners have to say about it.

If you are like me, you are one of those golfers who need to know the exact distance to the next hazard, front and centre of the green or run outs on dogs legs. If that is the case then I strongly recommend the Caddy Lite. It’s not the most expensive golf GPS system on the market; but for me it’s all you need. I’m no computer whiz, but I find it easy to download maps and it starts up within minutes of when you want to begin your round. I have found it invaluable on those holes where there is water in front of the green and I want to know the precise distance to the front of the green. I’m getting around the course in fewer shots since I acquired the Caddy Lite Plus. Highly recommended.

Caddy Lite, about the same size as a mobile phone; comes with a clip-on for your belt and a USB cable.

It comes with one map credit; there is also a list of available maps. You can check on the supplier’s website to make sure the Caddy Lite has your course. You can store 10 maps at a time.  Information is shown numerically only- simple to read and a good size. The distance to the green is always visible. Sometimes,  two numbers will indicate distance to the bunker and over it.
Caddy Lite Deluxe has a charger. Both Caddy Lite devices are recharable with a lead that plugs  into your computer.

Caddy lite fully charged lasts for 36 holes while left on , that’s about 480 mins without becoming fully drained.
If you want an all singing all dancing golf gps, this will not meet your requirements; if you need a reliable, does-what-it-says-on-the-box golf caddy then I strongly reccomend the CaddyLite.
